January 3, 2024 - (Columbus, Ohio) Casey Jones Law Firm is pleased to announce Michael Rapier has joined the firm as Partner. Rapier will head the firm’s newly opened office in Columbus, Ohio. Coming from generations of railroaders, Rapier started his career on behalf of railroaders as a legal investigator while he worked his way through law school. “Michael brings a deep personal connection to his law practice and we are excited to join forces in fighting on behalf of railroaders and their families,” Nick Thompson, chair of Casey Jones’ railroad practice said. Rapier’s great-grandfather, grandfather, father, and brother have all worked on the railroad and his father proudly served as a representative in the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes for more than twenty-five years and recently retired after forty-three years on the job. Rapier’s personal experience and legal expertise make him a forceful and devoted advocate for railroaders. By joining Casey Jones, Rapier will be able to serve more clients across the country. “I’m humbled by the opportunity to join a nationally designated law firm focused on representing railroaders. I grew up in a railroad family and understand that railroading isn’t just a job, it’s a way of life.”
